Stratford Place Townhomes Newsletter

Wednesday, May 07, 2008

Some of you may have noticed on Saturday, May 3rd, your Board, Barnett Management, the engineering firm, Oxbo, and our landscapers, Oakridge Landscaping, walked the property up and down. The purpose of the walk-thru was to show the damage the water problem is doing to our yards. Fortunately for us the rain really highlighted the unpleasant situation we all find ourselves in.  Everyone present is now a firm believer that there are major problems and corrective actions must taken immediately. Oxbo Engineering documented this situation and will present us with their findings in a week or two.

Ryan Homes and the community developer, Simon, were not present during the walk-thru, however both are working in unison and have promised us their utmost cooperation on solving our problems. Engineers from Ryan Homes have been on the property several times during the last couple weeks working out their plan of attack. Ryan Homes and Simon stated they will cover the cost of their projects to bring our place to acceptable standards.

The board will hold a Board meeting with all residents May 27th at Bryant & Stratton College in the Lowman Plaza, across the street from us. We plan to devote the entire meeting to share Oxbo’s findings, to hear other concerns and answer your questions. The scheduled time is 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm in a classroom. Stop at the front desk when entering and ask for the specific location. Hope to see you there. We also look forward to seeing everyone at the “Party in the Circle” June 14th, 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.
